Catering Payment Terms

Lady T Soulful Eats Inc – Catering Payment Policy

1. Deposit Requirements

A 50% deposit is required at the time of reservation to secure your event date.
This deposit is non‑refundable and will be applied toward your total catering balance.

Full payments are also accepted at the time of booking.

 

2. Final Payment

The remaining balance is due the day before the event.
Events with unpaid balances will not be prepared, delivered, or serviced.

 

3. Cancellations & Credits

If an event must be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, Lady T Soulful Eats Inc will issue a catering credit equal to the amount paid. This credit may be applied to a future catering order.

In certain situations, and at our sole discretion, we may issue a partial refund minus a convenience fee equal to 50% of the deposit.

 

4. Non‑Refundable Deposit

The 50% deposit covers:

  • Administrative preparation

  • Event planning and scheduling

  • Food sourcing and labor allocation

  • Reservation of your event date

Because these costs begin immediately, the deposit remains non‑refundable under standard circumstances.

 

5. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following forms of payment:

  • Cash

  • Apple Pay

  • Cash App

  • Credit and debit cards

  • Zelle

All payments must be completed using one of the approved methods listed above.

Catering orders require significant preparation. Deposits are non-refundable if cancelled less than 48 hours before the scheduled time. For changes to your guest count or menu items, please notify us at least 72 hours in advance.

Catering Service Agreement

Lady T Soulful Eats Inc (“Caterer”) and our valued Client agree to the following terms for our homestyle catering services.
 
1. Event Details

2. Menu & Services
We provide services based on your approved selections. To ensure the best quality, any changes to the menu, guest count, or service style must be submitted at least 7 days before the event.
 
3. Payment Terms
• Deposit: A 50% non-refundable deposit secures your event date.
• Final Payment: Balance is due the day before the event. Orders with unpaid balances cannot be prepared or delivered.
• Methods: Cash, Apple Pay, Cash App, Credit/Debit Cards, and Zelle.
 
4. Cancellations & Refunds
• Deposits cover immediate prep and food sourcing costs and are non-refundable.
• If you must cancel, we issue a catering credit for the amount paid for any future soulful meal.
• Cancellations within 72 hours of the event are not eligible for refunds or credits.
 
5. Food Handling & Liability
We follow strict food safety guidelines. Once your meal is delivered, you assume responsibility for safe storage and handling. We are not liable for food left out beyond safe timeframes.
